Bambi eyes with a cut crease
So for this look I wanted to create a subtle cut crease ( it’s named a cut crease because of the sharp lines that define the desired shape, there are also other variations of a cut crease) with added drama! You can wear this look without the lashes to get a more subtle look suited for the daytime. After I created this look I unfortunately did not have a party to attend so I just took the lashes off and went shopping, haha!
I used Flutter lashes, Mink lashes, in the style ‘Natalie’ to get my Bambi eyes effect. My own eyes are not that big but with lashes like this you can definitely create that illusion without going overboard with multiple layers of mascara. For this look I didn’t need a coat of mascara because the lashes are already super thick. The great think about Mink lashes is that although they may appear ‘heavy’ they are actually super light weight and you can’t feel them at all when you’re wearing them. In case it wasn’t already obvious, I love them!!
Here are the steps to getting this look:
To create the cut crease I used a black pencil first to define the line and create a sharp V- shape at the end ( I used Motives cosmetics, Onyx, for this ).
After that I used all Motives cosmetics eye shadows and went over the created line with a deep brown color called ‘Vino’. Afterwards, blend it well into the crease, but only at the top, never below the cut crease itself.
I then added a subtle color to my eyelids, I used ‘Vanilla’ all over the lid and in the inner corner I also used some of the color ‘Creme Fresh’ which is a shade lighter and will open up my eyes some more.
On my brow bone I used the color ‘Pearl’ and underneath I added a warmer brown color called ‘Cinnamon spice’ to add some warmth to this look.
When you’re done with the eyeshadow you can now curl your lashes and add mascara or falsies of your choice!
I also filled in my brows and made them a bit bolder than usual using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in ‘Brunette’.
I personally loooove the Brow Wiz line, it’s my favorite of all eyebrow pencils because it’s so easy to use and has great natural colors that blend well with your own natural color.
Here are some pics of the complete look!
For the rest if the look I used Motives Cosmetics foundation in ‘Linen’ and used the Color perfection Quad to shape my face. The blusher is called ‘So Peachy’. For the lips I first used a red shade but quickly decided that would be too much, haha. And so I went for a neutral tone and used the color ‘Pink Champagne’, op top of that lipgloss called ‘Preciosa’ which is a sheer peachy color.
Hope you love it!! If you have any questions, comment below!
