Color changes!

Hi sweeties!!

Just a quick post! Here are a few pictures of a recent look I did. I wanted to show you how to simply change color for different outfits/ occasions. I actually started out with the blue color ( underneath) and then switched it up to a Brick-like color, leaving the base, in this case, liner, golden glitter/ flakes and the white on the waterline in place. So if you’re not sure how your day is going to go this is a perfect way to switch it up or experiment with color. I used a middle sized blending brush to add the color on both looks. When the eyeshadow is applied ‘light’ it’s easier to chance colors or add another color later on.

For this look I used Motives Cosmetics eyeshadow and glitter and a white pencil for the waterline ( Angel). Also I used Le Petit Lapin eyelashes which are cruelty free Mink lashes. To finish the looks I always use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz to shape my brows, this color is ‘Caramel’.

Marchesa Inspired nail art by Rimmel London

Hi Lovelies!

A few weeks ago I was in London visiting family and came across these super gorgeous nail appliques. These beauties are inspired by the Marchesa SS 2013 fashion show, inspired by Indian fabrics and style. People that personally know me already know that I’m a sucker for anything gold and ‘blingy’ plus they match my sweater! 😛 All the more reason to try these babies out…

When opening the package you can see that there are 18 nail stickers included with different sizes. Even if you mess one up you can use another, haha. Very convenient! It also comes with a file and a plastic.. well whatever they call it… I thought it really came in handy peeling the stickers off and applying them on my nails. Also when there where some bubbles or folds in the stickers after applying it I could use that plastic stick to smoothen it out.

Basically what you do is apply them at the bottom of the nail and then gently press it on the nail starting in the middle and then both of the sides. After doing that you fold what is left of the sticker, over the edge of your nails and use the file to get rid of it. Pretty simple and this was my first time using nail stickers. Might give some other designs a try as well 🙂

Subtle Glam look! Easy to achieve :)

This look is super popular on my Instagram so I thought let’s share this on my website as well in better quality!

The glitter I used is mixed with a clear glitter adhesive ( mine’s from Sally girl but there are many more from different brands). I mixed it until it became a glitter gel and I applied it on my eyelids with a medium size flat eyeshadow brush. I found this glitter for just 0,50 cents in a local shop so it does show that beautiful looks don’t have to be created with expensive make up at all. I love this, reminds me of fairy dust!!

This tape is great for creating a perfect wing with eyeshadow. Just take a bit of tape and apply it next to the outer corner of your eye. Use a darker eyeshadow and apply it next to the tape and blend in and outward. When you’re done remove the tape and if you want soften it a bit with a big blending brush.

The eyeshadow I used is from Motives Cosmetics and the wing is created with ‘Smokeout’ from Urban decay’s  Vice palette 2. Lashes are from House of lashes ‘Bohemian Princess’, the brows are done with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. foto 3

Hope you love this soft & shiny look!! If you have more questions about the products I used leave a comment underneath and I will get back to you a.s.a.p.
